November 6, 2010 Update
With the passage of the Virginia Key Master Plan in July, we have now begun the challenging task of working with the City of Miami Administration to develop the implementation plan for the restoration and use of the Marine Stadium. This is a challenging and time consuming task. In the meantime, we plan to keep the Stadium in the public eye through press and other activities.

The Marine Stadium has recently received great press, through feature length articles in AIA Architect, Civil Engineering Magazine and BusinessMiami, the publication of the University of Miami School of Business Administration.

Next to this summary is a poster for the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival, an annual event sponsored by the Miami Dragon Boat Club. The event will be held adjacent to the Marine Stadium on November 13. Dragon Boat competitions are one of the fastest growing outdoor spectator sports in the world and the Miami Dragon Boat Club, expects to hold large scale events at the Stadium once it is renovated.
