Attached is a strong Resolution from the Greater Miami Chamber, Miami's pre-eminent business organization. We are deligted to have their storng support moving forward. The restoration of Miami Marine Stadium is part of the 2013-2014 Chamber goals.

The Antique Boat Museum of Clayton NY is the largest freshwater nautical museum in the United States. They would like to work with us to create and fund a satellite museum in the proposed Maritime Center to be located WEst of the Marine Stadium.

We have been working with the Department of Cultural Affairs for three years. We look forward to continuing to work with both the Department and the Cultural Arts Council to make assure that the Marine Stadium is a terrific showcase for the Arts in Miami Dade County.

Tourism Cares is a not for profit organization funded by the travel industry which seeks to encourage the preservation of historic places. The organization   looks forward to the opportunity to sponsor a "Tourism Cares Volunteer Weekend" to support the restoration of the Miami Marine Stadium.

Business groups like the Latin Chamber of Commerce recognize that the restoration of the Marine Stadium will have a positive economic impact on Miami and South Florida

The letter is from Stephanie Meeks, President of The National Trust. The National Trust for Historic Preservation has been an important soucre of support for the Marine Stadium, through inclusion on the Trust's "11 Most Endangered" list in 2009 and grants for an engineering study and the Floating Stage Design Contest. Recently, the Trust named the Marine Stadium to its list of National Treasures, which means that the Stadium is now in line for additional support to move the project forward.

We have made over 50 community presentations to various organizations in Miami. The Natives of Dade are know as much about the history of Miami as any group. We are apppreciative to have their full support for the restoration of the Marine Stadium.

Dragon Boat races are the fastest growing outdoor spectator sport in the world. The Miami Dragon Slayers have worked with us since we formed in 2008. There is tremendous opportunity for major dragon boat festivals at the Marine Stadium.

Triathlons are a rapidly growing sport and the South Florida Triathletes (SFT), with over 500 members, is the most important particapatory triathlon group in South Florida.

Even in its current state, the Marine Stadium is used for major triathlon events. We have worked with SFT for several years, and we look forward to collaborating with them to make the Marine Stadium and Basin a world class triathlon venue.

As of December, 2011, we had made presentations about the Marine Stadium to seven Rotary Clubs, four Chambers of Commerce, and other business organizations. The Marine Stadium always gets a great response. We look forward to working with the Miami Beach Chamber-and the many other business organizations we work with-to make the Marine Staidum a real economic asset to our community.

The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO) is Miami's flagship professional orchestra. Tho organization enthusiastically supports the restoration of the Miami Marine Stadium and envisions doing a concert series at the Stadium.

AMIKIDS Miami Dade is a not for profit organization dedicated to providing our community's troubled youth with a promising future. The program, which oriented to 14-19 years olds, has an extremely high 80% success rate. AMIKIDS has a branch located on Virginia Key near to the Stadium. Friends of Miami Marine Stadium looks forward to working with AMIKIDS on area cleanups, restoration projects, and unofficial sea grass surveys. Attached is a letter of support from Joseph King, the Executive Director of Miami-Dade AMIKIDS. It is these types of connections that we seek to foster to make the Marine Stadium a real community purpose building.

The Marine Stadium Basin is a world class triathlon site. For the last three years, we have been working with Miami Tri Events, a major triathlon promoter wthich has pioneered triathlons at the Marine Stadium. They understand the importance of a restored Stadium and we are pleased to have their support.

The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is organization responsible for tourism and convention promotion of Miami Dade County. GMCVB is strongly supportive of the restoration of the Marine Stadium as it will be a terrific asset to stimulate tourism.

This is actually our second letter of support from the very important Kiwanis Club of Little Havana. We are pleased to have their support, and look forward to working with the Kiwanis Club so that they can put concerts and other events at the Marine Stadium.

Miami Dade Sports Commission (MDSC) is a County organization that seeks to promotes sporting events in Miami Dade County to encourage economic development and tourism. We are pleased to have their strong support.
