A study of the architectural forms of the Marine Stadium

The formal name of this thesis is "Form, Use and Sustainability: A Geometric and Structural Feasibility Study of Hypar Shells". It was written by Nathan Brown as partial requirement for his Bachelor of Science of Engineering at Princeton University.

This remarkable paper traces the history of concrete shapes similar to the Marine Stadium-and then provides a very in depth analysis of the Marine Stadium itself.

American Express Foundation Blog, November 4,2013

The American Express Foundation has generously provided us with $80,000, to be used for a study of the Marine Stadium seaside pilings. This work must be done before any restoration work can proceed. Tim McClimon, President of the American Express Foundation, recently came to Miami and particpated in our panel "The Future of Miami Marine Stadium. He also visited the Marine Stadium.
