On February 17, Robert Hammand, Co-Founder of New York's famed High Line, and Phil Aarons, Founding Chair, came to Miami to deliver a presentation on behalf of Friends of Miami Marine Stadium entitled "The High LIne-New York's Park In The Sky: Lessons For Miami Marine Stadium. The High Line-an elevated freight railway running through lower Manhattan, has been turned into a public park and is an enormous success. We believe that the restoration of the Marine Stadium can be a similar success.
