Recently, we had the opportunity to spend some time with Jack Meyer. Jack was the Lead Engineer with Dignum Engineers, who did the work on the Marine Stadium. Attached is his remarkable accound of how the Marine Stadium got built.  Jack is pictured in the photo at left.

We agree.

We've been quietly working on these feasibility issues for two years and they are extremely important. Scroll down to read an article ("Preservation Today" November 2009) on potential end users and management by Don and Nina Worth, Co-Founders of Friends of Marine Stadium. Since the article was written in July of 2009, we've identified many more end users and have had continued discussions with groups that we believe could manage the Marine Stadium.

The issues that Michael Lewis raises are key-and we are very confident that a successful operating plan can be developed.

Mayor Regalodo promises revitalization of the Marine Stadium in his swearing in speech. For a long time, the Mayor has been a strong proponent of the Marine Stadium. He has been to numerous meetings of Friends of Marine Stadium and, in fact, he was active in protecting the Stadium even before Friends of Marine Stadium was formed.
